New Computer Limited Warranty

New Computer Guarantee

Dias Computer Services guarantees that the computer you purchased is free from defects at time of delivery. All computers have been fully examined and tested to conform too many years of service. All computers have been custom built to suit the customers' needs at time of purchase. All computers can be upgraded to a certain extent. Dias Computer Services stands by all its products. If you have any questions about any services, please feel free to contact Dias Computer Services with any questions you may have.

Limited one year warranty - Coverage

During the one-year period beginning on the invoice date, Dias Computer Services will repair or replace products covered under this limited warranty that are returned to Dias Computer Services facility. To request warranty service, you must call Dias Computer Services Customer Number within the warranty period. If warranty service is required, Dias Computer Services will schedule a repair date. You must bring the PC purchased from Dias Computer Services to the repair facility. The one year limited warranty covers both parts and labor. Dias Computer Services will replace the defective part with one of equal value or specifications. The replacement of the hardware does NOT extend the warranty of the product(s). At times Dias Computer Services will replace defective hardware with used or reconditioned parts that are the same value or specifications. If the customer requests a product that is of greater value or specifications, the customer is responsible for the cost of the product.


Products Covered under the one year limited warranty - Hardware

  • Central Processing Unit - Warranty varies depending on which processor purchased. OEM and Retail Processors have different warranties. OEM Processors are NOT covered under the one year warranty. Dias Computer Services purchases Retail Processors only, when building a NEW computer system. Any sign of a processor being manipulated will void ALL warranties provided by Dias Computer Services.
  • Motherboard - The motherboard is covered through manufactures warranty. The motherboard cannot be manipulated in ANY way to perform any differently then the manufacture suggests. And changes to system bios and internal and external parts will void ALL warranties by Dias Computer Services.
  • System Memory ( RAM/Hard Drive ) - Any memory upgrades should be performed by Dias Computer Services. Manipulating system memory to perform differently then it was designed to will void warranty on the computer.
  • Disk Drives (CD/CD-R/DVD/DVD-R/Floppy) - The warranty covers all disk drives that are being used in the way they are intended. Any manipulation made to the drive will void the warranty.
  • Video Processor - Depending on the video processor, the warranty has minimum one year coverage no matter what the processor.
  • Sound Processor - The sound board is covered to be free from defects while in normal use.
  • Communications Devices - The warranty covers the analog modem to be able to work as suggest by the manufactured specifications, if supplied in the computer purchased.
  • Other (Not listed) - Any other internal hardware installed by Dias Computer Services at time of purchase that was purchased from Dias Computer Services may be covered under the one year limited warranty. Please check at time of purchase.

This limited product warranty does not cover:

  • software, including the operating system and software added through Dias Computer Services T, as well as any third party software;
  • product that has been damaged by actions that are beyond Dias Computer Services 's control, including for example, impacts, fluids, fire, flood, wind, earthquake, lightning or similar disaster, war, strike, lockout, epidemic, destruction of production facilities, riot, insurrection, or material unavailability;
  • product that has been damaged through misuse, abuse or mishandling, including without limitation the unauthorized modification of the system as a whole or any individual component, and/or the attachment of peripheral devices; or
  • Any product for which Dias Computer Services has not received payment.

PLEASE NOTE!! - Dias Computer Services will not cover any damage caused by the environment, accidental damage caused by the customer, and software related problems. Any software purchased from Dias Computer Services is NOT covered by any warranty and the customer must contact the software manufacture for support.

Eighteen Month Free extended Warranty - Servicing

The eighteen month FREE extended limited warranty covers service and NOT hardware. The eighteen month period starts on the invoice date and ends eighteen months from that date. This service warranty covers any diagnosis, repairs. Hardware that has failed after the one year Hardware warranty must be purchased by the customer, but will be installed free of charge by Dias Computer Services. Having the computer serviced by another person will void the warranty, no matter what stage of the warranty process. Dias Computer Services will NOT reimburse payment for services provided by another person and any time of the warranty. Services will be provided at Dias Computer Services service office.
