Like anything else, a computer needs maintenance for it to run its best. Dias Computer Services can help keep your computer running like the day you bought it. Dias Computer Services offers maintenance schedules and procedures to keep this from happening.

Maintenance schedules and procedures are recommended for the following computers:

• The Home computer - With family members who use the computer at a regular basis. Many times family members who share a computer will install software that isn't't recommended for everyone in the household.
• The "download central" computer - This is the computer that is constantly downloading files from the Internet. The files may contain hidden viruses, and Trojans that can wreck havoc on the computer. The constant downloading of files will also slow down the computer and cause fragmentation.
• The Business Computer - Business computers do a lot of vital work for small and large businesses. When one of these computers fails it is at a great loss. Business computers should follow a strict maintenance schedule to prevent a disaster from happening.
• Home or Business Servers - Many businesses or home networks have servers that provide deferent services to the network. These servers are vital to the network and often contain important documents. If a server goes down, it could render the entire network useless for a prolonged period of time. The cost is time and money, these computers should follow a strict maintenance regiment.

Maintenance Services / Scheduled Services:

• Home Computer Scheduled Service - Is recommended to perform this service at least twice a year (every six months). This service includes a visual inspection of internal parts and an thorough cleaning. Many home computers in places of high traffic and tend to collect a lot of harmful dust and debris that will ruin the internal parts of the computer. This service also includes disk defragmentation, disk scanning, removing of unwanted software, and virus / operating system updating.
• Business Computer Scheduled Service - This service should be performed at least once every three months. Dias Computer Services will test the integrity of the system`s hardware by doing a full visual inspection of all internal connections as well as complete diagnostic tests of each hardware component. Other aspects of this service include internal cleaning, hard disk data integrity tests, heat dissipation tests, defragmentation, disk scanning, removal of unwanted software, registry cleaning (if needed) and virus / operating system updating. DCS will also recommend updates as needed.
• Home or Business Server Maintenance - The server is the core of any high traffic network. Our server maintenance schedule is a strict and important weekly (monthly) service that keeps your network running at 100%. The service is catered to your particular needs. The server maintenance schedule includes weekly backups of your important data, operating system updates, virus definitions updates, disk defragmentation, hard disk cleanup (if needed), a complete visual inspection of all internal hardware, hard disk data integrity, internal cleaning, and a complete diagnostic tests of each hardware component.
